Bio

Born from deep personal adversity and unrelenting survival, SØRD is a darkwave/post-punk solo project based out of Oklahoma City. Following years of severe trial—from surviving homelessness and joblessness to overcoming deep personal betrayal—SØRD turned entirely to music as a vital lifeline.

Backed by over seven years of active DJ experience in live audio selection and crowd dynamics, SØRD brings acute precision to live performance. The sound is driven by heavy, prominent basslines anchored by striking guitar leads—seamlessly shifting between syncopated, bite-heavy crunch and expansive, dreamy atmospheres. Combined with sparse, glassy melodic accents and dark organ textures, SØRD delivers complete artistic independence and raw post-punk urgency.

The upcoming LP, Pray & Prey, documents a visceral descent from nocturnal defiance to full systemic collapse.
